You are welcome to perform Reader’s Theater Editions in any live performance or broadcast, but in your introduction please include both author name and book source, if any.
With occasional gender-switching, any “Team Version” of these scripts can be handled by a standard team of two females and two males.
A primary aim of reader’s theater is to connect kids with books. When performing in a school or library, I suggest the following:
Well in advance, provide a list of the stories to be performed, with the suggestion that the books be acquired and made available by the day of performance.
Show the books themselves to your audience and, if possible, announce their availability.
